Ten years…
It’s been ten years since I started the blog, the channel, and the main website.
Amazing.

Also, back in October we passed the ten year mark for my photo journey.
I couldn’t celebrate it at the time, I was trapped at my Aunt’s house with her terrible internet.
…. Sorry Aunt.
So, I’ll just cover everything now.
Looking at that photo, I’m blown away with what I have accomplished.
Ten years ago I started this little project of making creative profile pictures for my accounts.
It would eventually change from just a little project to something greater.
It caused me to want to do more.
After changing schools, I was able to take photo classes and that’s when things took off.
After high school, I still wanted to do more.
So, we started entering into the contest to see if really knew what I was doing.
Once that was successful, I figured I’m good enough to get a job in photography.
I didn’t want to work at Wally World, I wanted a job that I like to do.
But that required going to college.
It might not have been necessary… but it was.
If I didn’t go, I wouldn’t have seen the presentation given by the company I work for.
Now, here I am.
I have 12 awards, a college degree, and a job I love.
Finally, I’m truly happy.
It only took ten years to get here.
Things are so different now.
I’m sitting in my room in a different house with all this fancy equipment.
And it’s all mine.
Back ten years ago, all I had was a TV that I could call mine.
Now I have all these things.
Half I need and half I don’t, but that’s beside the point…..  ;-)
I've gained so much and lost so much.

Everything about my grandparents on my dad’s side is gone.
The grandparents themselves, the cats up there that I cuddled with like my Boots, and even the house.
It’s all gone.
The only memories I have are the ones I documented on my channel with another channel I had called…. The Father.
It was a show about Boots’ dad.
It was fun!
I would have you go watch the videos, but they are gone.
That’s right, I have shut down The Father’s channel.
I’ve wanted to do more with it for so long, but it was tired to that name.
So, I created a new channel where I can have my own shows.
So, I will re-upload the videos there and maybe start some new shows!
I’m also still working on the Job Update and the VHS Project part 2.
Stay tuned for those.
The future is looking bright.
I’ve worked hard to get to where I am today.
That’s really all you need to do to succeed.
Just get out there and do something.
Life isn’t going to hand you things… for the most part.
You have to earn it and it's not going to be easy.
It took me ten years to get to this point.
But really a lot of the things in that photo happened five years ago.
That’s when I started doing something.
So, long story short.
Get out and do something.
