Hello.
How are you?
I’ve been fine.
But I’m sure you're wondering where I’ve been for three months!
Well….. nowhere…
I’ve been here.
I added the lights and snow!
I just needed to take a break.
It was getting towards the end of the semester and I needed to focus on that.
So…………. I did.
But that’s not really the real reason.
I have been working on many projects.
I have about four or five.
They were school related things.
One of the videos ended up being 7 hours long and that created a jam.
I didn’t want to edit it because I knew it would be a pain.
So… I didn’t.
The smart thing would have been to just push that video to the side and continue with the other project.
I’ll slowly get it edited in the background.
Yes, that would be the smart thing to do….
But I guess I’m not that smart.
I tried to get that one video done and eventually quit.
I didn’t just stop and continued the next day…
I legit stopped doing… everything.
So, now I have an even bigger mess.
I still did more projects and those got backed up.
These videos all over my computer.
It’s a mess.
But now that classes are done, I’ll have time to organize and edit.
So, that’s the quick and simple answer.
Let’s just say I took a break.
ANYWAYS!!
I’m back now and it’s CHRISTMAS!!!
Well…. it was Christmas… yesterday….
I had fun!
I was a simple Christmas.
We had our family thing…
Everyone one was happy.
I made fudge and ate it all…
One of the kids got sick.
We introduced our dog to the rest of the family because we are trying to have him not eat people.
And we are tired of locking him up.
He did fine….. ._.
It was a delightful time.
And the best thing is what the picture is about!
SNOW!!
We had a legit white Christmas.
There’s snow everywhere.
I forgot to measure but it was deep.
So, I’ve been playing with the snow.
You’ll see in the video…
I procrastinated making a Christmas picture until the day of Christmas.
I just didn’t know what to do for the picture.
But then the snow started falling and BAM it hit me.
So, at 12:30 AM Christmas Day, I made the picture.
It was simple.
Walk out… dump snow on myself… click the button.
I made 10 various photos.
Ones without the snow on me…
Ones with me happy….
Ones with me grumpy…
You get the point.
I decided to go with the very last photo I made.
I was cold and covered in snow, so my face is genuine. :-)
I had to do a little bit of post-production.
I was originally shooting the photo in manual mode with a low ISO.
But that means the shutter speed had to be longer.
And the snow was blowing around so much that it because invisible.
So, I had to crank up the ISO so that I could have a fast shutter speed and freeze the snow.
Hehehe…. Freeze…. The snow….. hehehe….
………….
Anyways, that means that the picture was going to be grainy and WOW it was.
So, I had to clean it up.
Then I played with the brightness and highlights.
Lastly, I cranked up the red saturation to make me pop.
