Picture 459...

YO!
WHERE’S MY MONEY?!?!?
DON’T MAKE ME SEND THE DOG AFTER!
SHE’S EVIL AND ANNOYING
She’ll annoy you with her neediness!
Anyways, while I have you here in my custody…. How are things?
I’ve been fine.
We had a busy week and I’ve been working hard.
I’ve been here alone for a while now.
The days are starting to blend.
The world is going around.
It is all the same.
The end.

……

.
I just bought nail clippers on Amazon instead of just going to the store.
I have ascended into the top tier of introversion!
Yeah, I should get out more…
Oh wait, I do all the time.
IT’S MY JOB.
I should get out on more non-work related matters.
LIKE WHAT I DID FOR THE PROJECT!
BOOM! PERFECT TRANSITION!
ONTO THE PHOTO!

Back in the last project, I thought of an idea.
I shoot a typical photo…
I go through the typical editing process…
But then at the last second, I color shift the entire photo.
Photoshop uses a scale from -255 to 255.
All photos start at 0 and depending on which way you slide the slider, the colors will change in the photo.
It’s pretty simple stuff.
So, I decided to do a series of photos in this style of bizarre colors.
This is the start of that.
This photo was a good starting point.
It’s not the best in the series, but it’s a good starting point.
I wanted a variety of colors.
It gives me more colors to change!
Which I why I wore a shirt that contrasts the environment.
JUST TRYING TO GET MORE COLORS!
I was actually going to wait until the Fall to do this.
THERE ARE SO MANY COLORS IN THE FALL.
But, the other project I’m currently working on is going to take forever…
So, I made this series to fill in the time while I get that other project done.
Anyways, this was the photo that had the least amount of different colors.
Mostly greens and yellows.
Which is why it’s not the best out of the bunch.
Luckily I found more colorful things later on.
Another goal was to get landscapes.
The whole point was to show the world in a different way that’s not normal.
So, I used my wide-angle lens for most of the photos to capture the views.
We walked down this path all the time at the Calendar Garden, so I thought it would be a good view to finally capture.
For the editing, it was a simple process.
I edited it like normal, bringing down the brightness, contrast, clarity, so on.
Once I got that figured out and the photo looked great, I hit CTRL+U in Photoshop which opens the color adjustment… window… thing.
It shows you a preview as you slide the slider, so I just slow watched the colors changed.
Eventually, I settled on the number 111.
It had the most variations in the colors.
COMPARE!
Hover your mouse (the computer one :-P) over the original picture to see the after editing one.
If you're on a touchscreen device, just tap on the picture. You may have to tap more than once.

That compared my first set of adjustments to the lighting.
Now compare the color shift!

LOVELY
Let's try the Image Slider for a split comparison.
CLICK and DRAG the BLUE BAR around to get our own split image.
Or, you can use these presets.
Before FULL, After FULL, 50/50, Before a QUARTER, or After a QUARTER.
Before
After
Isn't that just great?
IT'S WHAT I WANTED!
Alright!
That’s all I have.
Sorry the post is short.
There's just not a lot to discuss. :-\
There isn't a video.
That’ll come at the end of the series.
Come back soon for the next part!
