Picture 418...

So, I decided to not start off this post with the word “so”.
We are at the start of my 8th year of Internetness.
It’s time for some changes.

Sorry, but it’s time to move on!
NO LIMITATIONS!
Like only showing half my face for the first 246 pictures I did.
IT WAS HOLDING ME BACK!
I also slightly updated the template for the posts.
If you didn’t notice, each post has a set template.
So, when I start a new post, everything is already in place and ready to go.
Anyways, it’s almost been a month since my last picture.
Sorry, I’ve been busy!
This time it wasn’t family or anything…
It was all these college things!
The college things are going to do themselves!
We are getting close to the end though!
I didn’t realize how close it actually is.
Like… the 11th…. 3 weeks.
I HAVE 3 WEEKS LEFT!!
Then, I can take it easy for the summer.
I did sign up for on Summer class!
:-O
It’s a Field Photo class.
It’s only on Thursdays.
We go to places like parks or baseball games and take pictures!
It sounded fun!
There was only one spot left so I snatched it.
So, I’m thinking about what I’m going to do.
Upload day for the pictures and the videos will have to be moved back Wednesdays.
That way I’ll get new stuff on Thursdays and I’ll get them ready for that following Wednesday.
Then, go back out Thursday and get more new stuff.
I might not even do anything while we are out in the field.
As in, I might just only focus on getting school pictures and not blog pictures.
Plus, it would be weird making pictures of myself with a group of people around me.
I don’t know!
It’s a work in progress right now.
Right now, I need to focus on the final things for this semester!
So far, I have A’s and B’s.
But Math and my online Photoshop classes are getting…. A bit low.
Speaking of my Photoshop class, this is where this picture came from!
We were doing this thing in Photoshop called a halftone process.
So, I thought I could make an interesting picture using this.
It was a simple plan.
I wanted a dark image of me with some nice edge light.
Here’s what I got….
This was the easy part.
Especially with all the new equipment I have!
I quickly cover the new things in the BTS video.
ANYWAYS! Now I had to get that into Photoshop and finish the job.
Take a look at what I did using the Image Comparison!
Hover your mouse (the computer one :-P) over the original picture to see the after editing one.
If you're on a touchscreen device, just tap on the picture. You may have to tap more than once.

Let's try the Image Slider for a split comparison.
CLICK and DRAG the BLUE BAR around to get our own split image.
Or, you can use these presets.
Before FULL, After FULL, 50/50, Before a QUARTER, or After a QUARTER.
Before
After
Ok, that was what I was going for, but I wanted more!
So, I tried to add color to it and….a problem arose.
The color wouldn’t stick.
I’d change the color and it would snap back to being white again.
WHAT IS THE DEAL!?!!?!?!?!
For some reason, it wasn’t working.
IT’S JUST A SIMPLE COLOR CHANGE!!
It took me another 2…. HOURS… to get to this point…
It was close, but not what I had in mind.
So, I messed around with the spacing and got this…
Eh, it’ll have to do.
I wanted more blue.
So, I took it into Lightroom and made the purples and pinks more blue.
Which lead me to the final picture that is at the top of the post.
I'll just put it down here as well to save you the effort of scrolling.
Plus, the Image Zoomer messed up the picture.
It still doesn't like to have vertical images.
Here's the full and final image...
Overall, I like how it turned out.
It’s still not what I had in mind.
So…. I might just try it again……………….
……………………….
ONTO THE VIDEO!
I tried to make the video short!
Instead of showing the TWO HOURS of videos that I have of me getting my new equipment…
…I just cut all that out and did a quick ten-minute update video at the beginning.
The rest of the video is actually about the picture.
It took longer than I thought to make it.
Sooo………
You can CLICK HERE to see the video or watch it below.

ALRIGHT!!
I’m done!
GOODBYE! I'll see you when I see you...
