I’m in a good mood.
I finally started all my classes.
I’ve been through the first day of all of them.
I tend to not judge on the first day, but I feel like this is going to a fun semester.
EVEN WITH THE MATH CLASS!!!!
I KIND-OF LIKE THE MATH CLASS THE MOST!!
So far.
It’s the teachers that are making me so happy.
They are a cool bunch of people!
ANYWAYS!!!
This week’s post and video are about the contest.
We turned in the pictures a long time ago.
Oh, I don’t think I showed off the pictures…

“It’s…. too common.”
That’s all the judge said about my pictures that didn’t win last year.
I had a guy fishing…. “Too common.”
I had that cute old couple on the bench… “Too common.”
Actually he said, “It didn’t tell a good enough story.”
…… YES IT DOES YOU BLIND IDI……………….
I stopped myself.
I’m starting to remember that judges are crazy.
Hopefully, they are cool this year!

ONTO THE PICTURE!
This week’s picture was actually a part of last week’s video.
So, if you want to see the BTS video for it, you’ll have to go there.
I made it in that video so I could focus on putting more into the contest video.
I think I put a bit too much.
ANYWAYS, this picture was a part of the contest pictures.
We didn’t actually submit it for the contest.
It didn’t get that many votes so we didn’t use it.
I thought it fit perfectly with what we were doing for the contest, so that’s why I used it for this week’s picture!
I did change it up a bit from the contest version.
I added some more saturation and clarity.
And that’s really it.
I just wanted the colors to pop!

I did that so you can really see the split.
But, it'll come back when you hover over it again.

Onto the video I mentioned.
The video contains us getting ready for the contest.
With the Park videos, I already showed us taking the pictures.
This starts after that.
You’ll see us narrowing them down from 1,150 pictures to just 60.
Then the people voted.
Then we printed off the best one.
Then we got the matting.
Then we put them all together.
Then we turned them in.
SIMPLE!!
The video did get a little long.
I didn’t want to cut anything out.
It was an interesting process and I wanted to leave in each and every step.
Of course, I did get distracted here and there.
Overall, the video came out to 50! minutes.
