Picture 374 | April Fools Day 2016

So…um…hi.
I don't know how to say this.
It just sort of happened.
As you can see in the new picture…..
I got a new car…

I know what you're thinking.
“Who did you afford that?!?”
Well, it's a simple story.
I stole it.
Yep.
I used the money I got from sell drugs to get some fancy keys that were programmed to the cars frequency.
The guy didn't even know what happened.
Especially after I ran him over when he tried to stop me.
Ha!
I can't do it anymore.
I need to stop before I get in trouble!
It’s April Fool’s day.
The Internet is not safe today.
Beware.
Well, the day is over anyways.
This picture was planned a few weeks ago.
After I made my Seven Years picture.
I was like “oh, we are almost half way to April.”
And that reminded me about today.
I looked at what I did in the past to think of something different.
I didn't do one last year.
I was in the middle of a series and didn't feel like making one anyways.
I had to do something this year.
I thought……
It had to be good……
Well executed…..
I am trying to get a new car……
…………
THAT’S IT!
I could give myself a new car!
I have many little model cars.
But, they aren't pretty and they are toooo little.
So, my next option was a larger scale model we have in the living room.
There’s a Mustang and a 2007 Saleen S7.
I like sporty cars like a Saleen, but I’ve always loved a Mustang.
I still used both.
In case I changed my mind.
However, I messed up with the Mustang.
I didn't get the angle right and it looked…off.
Like it didn't fit…..
Like…. It was Photoshopped.
Take a look….

See.
So, I had to go with the Saleen.
I just mentioned the angle part.
I spent a lot of time planning out how to pull this off.
It had to be perfect!
The angle of the camera in the close up shot of the car had to match the angle in the base picture.
Once I was happy with all the pictures, I had to put them together!
I took an hour to do both pictures.
The Photoshopping had to be flawless!
Which….didn't happen.
Well, if you take a quick far away glance it looks fine.
But, up close….blah.
I didn't get the focus of the camera right for the car.
So, the back half is blur.
And I didn't clean the dust off the car.
And I didn't fix the cracks in the windshield.
And it's a little fuzzy around the edges.
And the car doesn't have a shadow...but I do.
ANYWAYS! If you just take a quick look….it's fine.
I'm still proud of it!
For the coloring, I didn’t want to distract.
I wanted it to compliment the car and make it seem like it was really there!
I used a lot of saturation.
Why?....
I don't know.
And then my tropical ….. Tropical?
Siri! Stop autocorrecting me!
My typical contrast and clarity.
But not as much clarity as I usually do.
In all……
I think it looks great!
Compare just the color correction part.
