Picture 330

So, I'm in a pickle.
I've been looking at them list of picture ideas that was mentioned last week.
I remembered what that list actually was.

I was going to copy other peoples work.

It was at a point a year ago that I thought I had no more ideas.
I was done.
Everything that I did wasn't inspired too much by something.
However, I was at the point that I was going to just copy that art and effects in other pictures.
And that's why I never did the things in the list.
That's just wrong.
However, I have come to a point for ideas again.
That's my problem.
Do I go with it...or not.
And well....I went with it.
That's were last week's picture comes in.
I was supposed to look like something that I've seen floating around the webs.
But it didn't turn out that way.
I was able to make it my own.
So, maybe I could do the same for the other pictures.
Not only that, but I'll make it even better and easier.
I'll use the same original photo for last week's picture and use it for every one if I could.
I'll turn it into a series of how many different ways can I manipulate this photo.
So, I began working.
This is the next one on the list is titled Suns.
Each photo is named after the thing I was going to copy...or...get inspired by.
Suns means A Thousand Suns...

So, I was going to make a picture that reflected that style.
I knew it wouldn't be that hard.
Just draw a square with the selection tool and copy and paste.
And do that over and over.
As time went on, I found an even easier way to do it.
I didn't take any square out, or else it'll look too like the inspiration.
I was just going to do my face.
I had this project started a while back and never finished it.
But that would be to close, so I used my whole body.
Once I got the copy/paste done, I decided to have more than one.
Like in Paint.
Once I got it all done, I wasn't too sure.
It looked like what I was copying.

So, I added COLOR!
That will be the driving force in the series....color.
And thus, it was done.
Let's compare the original black and white one with the colorful one.

I think the color makes it my own.
Even though...it's really close.
I'm not too happy about that.
I'm not a copier.
I try not to be.
There was going to be a BTS video, but I decided to just make a long video of me making every picture in the series.
Like the nature walk videos.
Sorry for the short post.
I have a lot on my brain right now.
I would have done an April Fools picture, but I'm out of ideas. :-D
