So, life just got fun.
I have had a wonderful week!
Just wonderful...
Yeah....
.............
Ok, it wasn't so wonderful.
It was average...
I'm just really excited right now.
I GOT A GOPRO!
And a boat load of stuff for it.
Like different mounts and what not.
I would include a video of all the stuff I've recorded so far....but it would take a while to edit!
I'll do it next week.
But I really liking it.
I've attached to the truck and drove down the road.
I've dunked it in the bath tub.
I've put it in the dryer.
SO MUCH FUN!
I'll use it for storms and my dad's races.
We're trying to figure out where to attaching on his racing tractor!
And for storms, I'll just attach it outside to something and let it run.
It can go for 3 or 4 hours.
And it'll be outside to get all the wind and rain.
I'll be inside with the other cameras get pictures.
It can also record and take pictures at the same time.
But only at 30FPS.
I had a dream to get all the storms that comes through at 60FPS.
However, after our first storm last week, 60 is a bit tricky to do.
My cameras kept crashing.
And the files sizes are huge!
AND....it's just hard.
We'll have to see what happens.
ANYWAYS!!! On to the picture.
Read last week's post for more info about the series.
The idea was that I'll use one image and change it in different ways.
The ways are influenced by a certain picture or style that I want to recreate.
Simple.
Today project was called "Waiting".
It's inspired by an awesome music video.
This one was hard.
I knew I wasn't going to come close.
But I tried.
I Googled stock photos of network mesh, pixels, flares, blah blah.
A lot of things to layer together.
And that's all that it was about.
Layering.
Each layer had to be perfect.
In order to blend together.
That's why I couldn't do Paint of a black background.
It took off that difference effect.
It was a lot of tinkering around.
But after...a while...I got it to work!
It wasn't what I thought.
I like it, it just wasn't what I wanted.
But what I wanted was WAY out of reach.
So, I'll have to settle.
And that was it.
There will be more detail in the EPIC BTS video of the whole series.
So, that's why this post is short.
I have no comparison to do.
I have no video to show.
:-\
Sorry.
I also want to get back to playing with the GOPRO!!
COME BACK NEXT WEEK!!!
