Picture 193

On July 21^st, my family had a little get-together and instead of taking picture with the family...I went off by myself.
I noticed a small creek and was like "PICTURE!!!"
So, I went down and studied the area to try and find a spot.
Well, I wasn't alone, my parent where there watching me jump across rocks and what-not.
Anyways, I need a spot that had a clear spot with a rock and no other rocks.
And I didn't have my tripod, so my camera had to be place on a rock and it had to be parallel with me.
Also, it couldn't be far because I only had ten seconds to get to my position.
I need a camera with a remote control. That would be easier.
I found a spot and took this picture.

Of course, I was too close. 

I tried again and this time went farther. Then, my mom wanted me to try it farther down. The other picture is what I got.

For the picture on the right, there was a bridge that I put the camera on and a nicely placed rock.

Once the get-together was done and I was home, I started the editing.

I couldn't pick which one to use, so I edited them both.

I straightened the left one and cropped off a little of the right one.

And I also did my typical color enhancing and playing.

I didn't play around at all. I wanted to make it good and serious.

All I did was add a some contrast to make me standout and added some saturation to make the surroundings pop.

Once all that was done, I looked closer to find the best one.

I finally picked one. To make sure, I had my mom look at the two and she picked the same one.

This was the one we picked. It as hard to get to that spot in ten seconds.
