Ok.
Umm.
Hi.
So.
Umm.
Ok……
This post isn’t a happy post.
It’s a serious thing.
First off, how are things?
You doing ok?
Things have been ok for me.
Let’s talk about the good things.
So, I’m in the process of re-purposing my “Professional Website”.
I made it for my portfolio class and it was just a page with photos.
I did have my contest stuff, a link to this blog was on there, all my college work, so on.
I was thinking of turning it into my new Main Website.
If you didn’t know, I have many sites across the interwebs.
The main site is the place where you could get to all of them and see everything going on.
Like a little hub of info.
Well, I haven’t touched it is a long time.
Its last post was for the 3rd contest… I think.
So, yeah.
It’s out-of-date.
I think it’s time to move on.
I’m sad about it.
I built that website.
All the various things on there that I coded myself….
….and the ones that I stole from other sites and re-worked to my needs.
It was a testament to my love of web design and coding.
Just like this blog.
The image zoom thing, the various photo comparison things that I do, even the floating menus at the top.
I made those… except for the image zoomer.
I got that from a site that has a bunch of free codes.
A lot of the codes I made won’t work on the new site.
But I’m trying my best to see what I can transfer over.
I’m even thinking about moving the blog over there.
I don’t know about that yet.
I’m not ready to give this up.
That reminds me!
I put up the Christmas lights!
T’is the SEASON!!!
Also in the white topbar, there’s a button to turn on the snow!
I don’t know if it works on mobile….
The blog isn’t really made for mobile.
WHICH IS WHY I’M WORKING ON A NEW ONE!
Will I be able to transfer over the snow and Christmas lights to the new site?
…….. I need to experiment!
Anyways, what else happened.
OH!
I got a new camera!
You won’t see it until the Christmas video.
I just upgraded from a D3300 to a 5500.
Nothing too dramatic.
Hmmmmm…
What else…
I’m stalling.
I guess there's no avoiding it.
Onto the photo….
She died three years ago from today.
I didn’t think I’d get that attached to that little clump of fluff.
She wasn’t even mine.
When we got her, she didn’t really like us.
We weren't too kind to her, unfortunately.
Her name was actually a joke.
She'd be mad at me and I'd go, "Ohhh, it's she just a Jolly little Molly.”
SARCASM!
But as time went on we were nicer and she cheered up, especially when she was with me in my room.
Nothing but love, and she truly became a happy Jolly Molly.
So, as the years went by after she left, everyone kept asking when I was going to get another pet.
I didn’t want one.
Until.
They just die.
What’s the point.
But then back in February, I had a photoshoot at a home and……
And of course, the agent selling the house said that the owners were looking for someone to give her a new home.
WONDERFUL!!
So, I thought about it decided that I would be that home!
On my desk.
Now, I mentioned that all this happened in February.
So, why did I share this back then?
Also, why hasn’t she appeared in any of my videos?!?!
Wellllllllllll……..
Here we go………
I didn’t keep her.
………………..
…………..
……..
…
.
As she was sitting on my desk, just after I took that photo….
She bit me.
I blamed it on myself.
I think I got too close to her belly.
She must not Ike belly rubs.
I actually caught the moment on video and that's the way it looks.
No belly rubs.
Ok.
Later on, I wanted to see what she would do if I went to be.
As you can see in this week’s photo, Jolly Molly laid on my face almost.
All the time.
So, I wanted to see if the new cat would do the same.
She got into the bed and got all comfy.
I wasn’t petting this time.
Just pretending to sleep.
Then, I shifted a little bit to get more comfortable.
Then… she bit me again.
Almost got my face.
She ran off and glared at me from a distance.
That’s when I knew it wasn’t going to work.
I’ve already been through an evil cat.
I don’t think this cat would have been that evil.
But I just didn’t like the vibe anymore.
I called my mom into the room to get her thoughts and the cat bit my mom.
It wasn’t working.
I didn’t like it.
So, I talked with the owners and they came back to get her.
And that was that.
I was devastated.
I was so happy.
I thought it was going to work.
So, now you know.
And of course…
I documented everything.
Onto the video…
It’s a simple video that just covers this whole ordeal.
No distractions.
The photoshoot, meeting the cat, thinking about taking her home, making that decision, getting dropped off, the first bit, me crying in the dark, them taking her away, me crying again, the aftermath of the next day.
I didn’t actually record them taking her away, but you’ll see a quick glimpse of me shortly after.
Umm.

Alright.
That’s it.
I’ve been sitting on this for a while now.
It’s time to get it out there.
I show everything in my life.
The good and the bad.
I don’t hide anything.
But it’s time to move on.
We aren’t going to sit on this for too long.
This coming Wednesday, I’ll finally post the Shirt Photo!
It’s a photo 32 me’s wearing all my diffident colored shirts.
I can’t wait for you to see it.
After that will be the Christmas video.
I might wait and include New Years because our family shindig isn’t until the 29th.
We’ll see.
COME BACK NEXT WEDNESDAY!!
