Здравейте!
Как стоят нещата?
Плувам през живота.
Един ден по един.
I’ll stop that.
There’s still nothing new going on.
I’ve just been working away.
Doing stuff here, doing stuff there.
Just moving along.
I wanted to shoot a video here, now that I have some peace and quiet.
I’m still trying to work out the logistics of it.
The video was supposed to take place at my house, using certain areas and rooms.
So, I need to fit those parts into this new house.
See if things would work like they are supposed too.
Lots of planning.
I don’t just plop the camera down and go.
I used too.
But now I plan things out and figure out what I’m going to do.
Which is why the Jerry videos have been the best they’ve ever been.
Including the one that I never released.
The one I’m trying to re-shoot.
It’s the best one I ever made.
Anyways, you’ll get to see it eventually.
The Aunt is gone.
Never to return.
The dog is still sad.
See…
She’ll never forgive my Aunt for what she has done.
She will get her revenge!
ONTO THE PHOTO!
This is part three of the series.
Here’s part one, and here’s part two.
The past two photos I've been traveling somewhere.
Now, I’ve finally gotten to my destination.
Simple storytelling.
This photo was as tricky as last week's photo.
Last week I set the camera up where I’m standing in this photo.
Then I ran down and walked the broad walk where the camera is currently sitting.
Now as you can tell, it’s the opposite.
I'm up there and the camera is below looking up.
Once again, I couldn’t have gotten the photo without the Aunt being there to push the button.
THANKS AUNT!
The photo turned out fine, it was a bit bright.
But I didn’t feel like walking all that distance again.
So, I went with it.
When it came to the editing, I had choices.
I was going to go with the usual saturated look that the last two photos have had.
But there wasn’t enough color diversity.
It was mostly just blue and green.
You couldn’t see my red shirt.
So, I thought about going black and white.
But then I remembered that I haven’t done a sepia photo in awhile.
And the Aunt loves sepia.
So, that’s what I went with.
COMPARE THE CHANGES BELOW!

COMPARE THE CHANGES BELOW!
Hover your mouse (the computer one :-P) over the original picture to see the after editing one.
If you're on a touchscreen device, just tap on the picture. You may have to tap more than once.
That compare the lighting changes that I did.
As I mentioned, the photo was really bright.
But with camera RAW, I was about to bright some stuff back.
Then I turned the photo black and white and added the sepia filter.
And I also took out all the little specks that were one my sensor at the time.
So, now compare all the changes at once.
LOVELY!!!
Let's try the Image Slider for a split comparison.
CLICK and DRAG the BLUE BAR around to get our own split image.
Or, you can use these presets.
Before FULL, After FULL, 50/50, Before a QUARTER, or After a QUARTER.
SIMPLY GORGEOUS!!
Alright, this is the last time where there won't be a video.
Next week will be the final photo and the video of us walking around in this park.
It’ll be fun!
So, come back next week.
