Picture 434 | The Fourth Contest-Part Three...

Well…. Hi there.

I am feeling wonderful!

Sorry this post was a day late.
I had issues uploading the video.
BETTER LATE THEN NEVER!
I’m trying new things and getting stuff done!
I finally finished my camera/award wall.
SEE!

When we cleaned out the grandparent’s house, they gave me those cameras including the shelf.

That was almost a year ago and I just now just everything hung up on the wall.

I got the photos that I printed for my Fine Art class up there as well.

I also placed my certificate on the wall next to my letters for being on the Dean’s List.

Too bad I didn’t get on the Dean’s List this semester.

I’ll do better! I promise.

Overall, I’m happy!

I can see everything that I’ve accomplished on one wall.

It’s given me a boost of energy.

We’ll see how long it lasts.

I started using Premiere Pro again.

Back in the day, something happened to the program to make it not work correctly.

That seems to be fixed and so I tried it out again.

There was a bit of a learning curve, but I stuck to it.

I even customized some controls and keyboard shortcuts.

I’m starting to love it now.

I should’ve switched a while ago.

I put the program to the test by editing the video that was originally going to be Picture 430.

The video became seven hours long and I didn’t want to edit it.

But since I’m feeling great and I had a new program to edit with, I decided to continue!

There is a way to import old Premiere Elements projects into Premiere Pro, but I decided to start over.

This way, I can apply my new techniques.

I’m trying to not include so much of me rambling and keep things about the photos.

Plus, the things I talk about in the video is old news.

I shot the old Picture 430 like…. EIGHT MONTHS AGO.

Long story short, I’m cutting a lot of things out.

Much like what I did with these contest videos, but to a greater extent!

I’m very pleased with how things are looking and I’m looking forward to the future.

ANYWAYS! Enough rambling!

This is the final part of the 2018 contest videos.

THAT MEANS I CAN FINALLY TALK ABOUT THE RESULTS!!!

I have been waiting so long to say this…….

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!

Before I went into this year’s contest, I had my goals set on getting second place.

I know it’s a weird thing to say, but I wanted second place!!

It’s one of the awards that I haven’t gotten.

I wanted something new… I WANTED ALL THE AWARDS!

So not only did I go for second place, I was also for Best Black and White.

Sadly, I was only half successful.

I didn’t get the Best B&W award.

BUT I DID GET MY SECOND PLACE!!!

NOT ONLY THAT…. I GOT TWO!!!!!

Hehehehehehhehehehehehehehehehheh

I was so happppppyy!!!!

LIKE BEYOND HAPPY!!!

This was the best contest ever.

Out of the four years, this one wins.

There are other reasons why that I explain in the video.

LET’S TALK ABOUT THE PICTURE!!

There isn’t really much to talk about.

The picture is pretty simple.

Plop the camera down and BAM!

I did work through some different poses.

I didn’t want to look too much like a show-off.

The editing wasn’t that hard.

I brightened things up and increased saturation.

It’s the one award I’ve always wanted to win.
I love black and white more than color… almost.
So, that’s my goal for the next contest.
My next project for the blog will probably be the old picture 430.
I might upload something before that as an update post.
I have MONTHS of content that I need to get organized and uploaded.
So, that’ll be the last long rambling video before we go into the new style that I talked about.
I don’t know when the next thing will be uploaded, but it shouldn’t be long.
