Picture 431 | The Fall...

HOWDY!
How are things going for you?!?!?
ARE THEY JUST PEACHY!?!?!?!?
GOOD FOR YOU!!!
GLAD YOU’RE HAVING A GREAT TIME!!!!!!!!!

……………………..
Sorry.
I’ve been not feeling so good.
I thought my last post was the worse.
NOPE!
Basically, after getting better I went through a phase where I didn’t want to work on…. Anything.
That’s why the contest stuff hasn’t happened yet.
After finding out that my grades weren't going to fixed, I shut down.
I’m a failure and it wasn’t my fault.
It is now.
They probably could have fixed something at first.
But I didn’t want to go in and talk with people until I was 100% better.
I didn’t want to spread the flu!
By the time I got better, everything was a mess.
It was beyond fixing.
That just caused me to shut down, like I said.
It hurt.
I stopped working on EVERYTHING.
I did nothing and now my grades are bad because of me.
I’m not going to graduate at the end of this semester.
I’ll just have to start over in the Fall.
I should clarify something.
I didn’t quit everything.
I still worked on what was important… my photo class.
I still did assignments.
I MADE A PROFESSIONAL WEBSITE!
That’s still fine, and the web development class.
That one did get a bit behind when I was sick and I’m catching up.
Anyways, I explain all this in a video!
I talk for a whole 20 minutes about everything.
There isn’t a BTS for the photo.
We will compare what I did to it through!
Hover your mouse (the computer one :-P) over the original picture to see the after editing one.
If you're on a touchscreen device, just tap on the picture. You may have to tap more than once.

That was comparing the cropping that I did.
Now compare the other changes!

It does look dark and gloomy... PERFECT!!
Let's try the Image Slider for a split comparison.
CLICK and DRAG the BLUE BAR around to get our own split image.
Or, you can use these presets.
Before FULL, After FULL, 50/50, Before a QUARTER, or After a QUARTER.
Before
After
The picture did take a little bit of editing.
There are actually two photos, one with clarity all the way down and one with it all the way up.
I used opacity to blend them together into one photo.
Doing this creates a little bit of a glow in the image, and yet keeps everything sharp.
Ok. Here’s the video.

The good stuff starts at 8 minutes 53 seconds.
You can CLICK HERE to see the video or watch it below.

That’s all I got.
I’ll try to get the contest stuff done here soon.
Hopefully, I’ll get better and we can continue down the journey.
This is just a little bump in the road.
Lastly, I’d like to say sorry to my Aunt.
I didn’t want all this to go downhill.
I stopped keeping her updated on what was happening because I knew she wouldn’t be too happy.
She’s the one that convinced me to go to college.
She’s believed in me from the start and doesn’t want me to fail.
She’s not going to be happy about this.
I’m going to go to her place and shoot more photos and she’ll probably kill me then.
Stay tuned for that.
I’ll send this post to her and a preparation.
Maybe she’ll be calm when I show up. ;-)
ANYWAYS! I’m going to go.
I tend to not share all the dark stuff, but this was a big deal.
Things got messy and I didn’t want to hide it.
I’m still here, and I’ll continue.
I’ll see you when I see you.
