So… ummm…. Hi……
This post is a little late… and there’s a reason.
This is the new upload day!
I usually try to upload the new picture, video, and blog posts on Wednesdays.
However, here recently…. That hasn’t been happening.
So, I have decided to move upload day to Fridays.
I wouldn’t have a lot of homework to worry about along with other things.
Friday is my lazy day!
We’ll see how it works out.
I’ve been uploading on Wednesdays since the dawn of time!
But, it’s time for a change.
Other than that, it’s been a simple week.
Not a lot going on.
School is still cool.
Life is still life.
PICTURE!!!
This week’s picture is a simple one!
There was a foggy night so I went out and got….. a foggy picture!
My goal was to get interesting light rays shining through the fog.
I love that kind of stuff.
It was a little complicated to get.
I experimented with different ways of making light rays with different light sources.
I eventually settled on using a flashlight.
I used the backyard because it has a hill.
The light could be up high and I would be lower.
I tried with my normal camera and… it didn’t work.
Well, I did.
I just wasn’t enough zoom.
And after that… the fog was going away.
I actually gave up and I was very sad.
I tried to sleep and… I COULDN’T!!!!
I MUST WIN!!
So, I went back out with the Zoom Cam.
It took my an hour but I eventually got what I wanted.
NEVER GIVE UP!!
For the coloring, I went with good ol’ black and white.
Then, I cranked up the clarity and contrast to make the ray stand out more.
AND THAT WAS IT!!

Hover your mouse (the computer one :-P) over the original picture to see the after editing one.
If you're on a touchscreen device, just tap on the picture. You may have to tap more than once.
AMAZING!!
Just what I wanted!
Let's try the Image Slider.
Here's how it works...
There's a blue bar in the middle of the picture.
That's the slider.
The slider will disappear when you move your mouse off of the image.
I did that so you can really see the split.
But, it'll come back when you hover over it again.
You can CLICK on it and DRAG it around to get our own split image.
Or, you can use these presets.
Before FULL, After FULL, 50/50, Before a QUARTER, or After a QUARTER.
OK!!! The video…
The video did get a bit long because I rambled for a bit at the end.
Other than that, it’s nothing but fogginess!
You can CLICK HERE to see the video or watch it below.
THAT’S IT!
I have homework to do which is why this post is a bit short.
I just checked it while typing up this post and there’s a big project due on Sunday.
So, I’ll start planning it now.
I usually don’t start until Saturday.
NOT ANYMORE!!!
I SHALL NOT FAIL!
COME BACK NEXT WEEK!!!
