So, I’m a failure.
This picture almost wasn't going to be uploaded.
But I didn’t have another one, so I just went with it anyways.
First off, my week was fine.
I was working on an English report last week.
I got the grade and review from the teacher yesterday.
Also two other reviews from the classmates.
So, I have some issues to fix.
AUNT….. HELP.
Other than that, it just a typical week.
OH WAIT!....
Blueberries!
The Blueberry festival was on Sunday.
It was fun.
Had a deep fried Oreo.
It gave me a heart attack.
So did the fireworks at the end.
Here’s a clip, UNEDITIED…straight from the camera.
WASN’T THAT CRAZY!!
It was big.
Then, I got to hang out with the family on Monday for Labor Day.
And that was it.
School is fine.
We developed our rolls of film in photo class.
Mine turned out fine.
It’s not the first time I've done that.
And today, he showed us how to make the prints.
Again…. I already know.
But it's good to see it again.
All the other classes are the same old come in, work, go home.
Nothing exciting.
ANYWAYS!! I said I was a failure…
But why?
I rushed.
Really look at the picture.
Does it seem to be by my standards?
Or…. Any ones?
No.
It’s not.
Some people might like it.
Good for you.
I don't.
I had this idea in my head and decided to go with it.
But, it kept getting delayed and I pushed it off until last night.
I didn't follow my schedule!
The big issue was that it was supposed to be outside.
It was too late to do that.
So, I did it in the dark basement and had poor results.
I was just going to re-do it today and not even upload a picture.
But I decided to upload it anyways.
To show you what rushing can do.
DON’T RUSH!!
Things take time.
I had to do a boatload of noise reduction because it was so dark.
It looked grainy.
I had to cut back on my typical things.
Because it didn't work with the noise reduction.
It’s hard to explain.
COMPARE!!!
Here's the original.
You'll be comparing cropped version to help see the changes...

COMPARE!!!
Here's the original.
You'll be comparing cropped version to help see the changes...
Hover your mouse (the computer one :-P) over the original picture to see the after editing one.
If you're on a touchscreen device, just tap on the picture. You may have to tap more than once.
Here's the part where I had to move myself over...
Then, I photoshopped in the cameras...
Lastly, the Lightroom adjustments...
And now compare all the changes...
AMAZING!!
Let's try the Image Slider.
For this, we'll compare the final one with the one where I'm already moved over.
It'll compare better.
Here's how the slider works...
There's a blue bar in the middle of the picture.
That's the slider.
The slider will disappear when you move your mouse off of the image.
I did that so you can really see the split.
But, it'll come back when you hover over it again.
You can CLICK on it and DRAG it around to get our own split image.
Or, you can use these presets.
Before FULL, After FULL, 50/50, Before a QUARTER, or After a QUARTER.
Onto the video!
It’s nothing special.
Just me making the picture and the time it took.
I did get a little long at almost 40 minutes.
You can CLICK HERE to see the video or watch it below.
If you watched the video, you can see why it's so long.
This picture was a nightmare.
It was all my fault.
I kept pushing it off and eventually ran out of time.
I had to rush.
Which is why it doesn't look as good as I'd like it too.
It was mostly the lighting.
No matter what I did, the picture was grainy and looked terrible.
I could have easily fixed that, but I was rushing and didn't have time.
Is this how I want to be for school and whatnot?
I made a schedule so I can have time for everything.
So, here's what I'm going to do.
I’m going to re-do this picture.
But do it the right way.
The way I wanted too.
It looks like what I had in mind.
But the original plan was to be outside.
That would fix the lighting issue.
Soooo…..
COME BACK NEXT WEEK!!!
