SUBJECT CHANGE!!
I did have an exciting week.
Well, Monday was.
A storm rolled through.
You’ll see clips of it in the BTS video.
IT WAS CRAZY!
There was wind and rain.
A nice looking shelf cloud.
And ROTATION!!!
IT WAS SPINNING!
I forgot to bring a camera, but I had the iPad.
I filled it up with videos.
I was at work when it came through.
I conveniently when on lunch before it got here….
Our outdoor flower display had flowers fly away.
The light poles where swaying.
IT WAS……. CRAZY!
We drove around and looked at the damage.
There was a lot to the west where the shelf cloud was.
We didn't get hit by it directly.
Power was out.
Telephone poles snapped.
Trees uprooted or snapped in half.
It was crazy.
Other than that, it was a simple week.
OH! A simple week should have a simple picture!!!
This week's picture was so simple…
...I made it in five minutes.
Ok.
I lied.
….it was two.
HA!
It was pretty easy.
The tiger lilies have bloomed.
So, I wanted to get a picture with them.
All I really did was walk down there and take a selfie.
SIMPLE!
I did take a few tries to get the right picture.
For the coloring, I still wanted simple.
I had the picture for focused on the flower.
So, I wanted it to stand out.
I added saturation and clarity to make it POP!
Then some contrast to make me fade away a bit.
And for an extra touch, some black vignetting.
It makes your eyes focus on the flower!
IT’S SIMPLE AND PERFECT!!

Let's try the Image Slider.
Here's how it works...
There's a blue bar in the middle of the picture.
That's the slider.
The slider will disappear when you move your mouse off of the image.
I did that so you can really see the split.
But, it'll come back when you hover over it again.
You can CLICK on it and DRAG it around to get our on split image.
Or, you can use these presets.
Before FULL, After FULL, 50/50, Before a QUARTER, or After a QUARTER.

First they said it was going to happen… Now.
(At 7pm, which is when I'm typing this.)
But then they said they weren't going to happen and they would be south of here.
Then they said it WAS going to be here at 9.
And now they say it’s going to be at 10 or midnight.
Here’s what I learned.
DON’T PREDICT THE FUTURE.
I’m looking at the radar right now.
I can see that there’s some blobs to the north that are going to miss us.
So, they aren’t going to happen yet.
When they form right above downtown Chicago, then I'll be concerned.
But right now, bubcus.
Nothing.
So……
COME BACK NEXT WEEK!!!
I’ll let you know if I died in the storm.

Well, that was exciting.
I had all this ready to upload, but the storm distracted me.
It wasn't as windy, but the lightning!
WOW!
All you can here in the video is us going AHH!! OHH!!!! THAT WAS EPIC!!!
It was cool.
If I was at work it would have been cooler.
Lightning hit a transformer close to Wally World and knocked out power.
We drove around and looked at the darkness.
If it wasn't cloudy, I would have went star watching. :P
Anyways, we did get something.
