Picture 356

So, sorry I didn't do anything yesterday.
I had a long night before.
That's where this picture comes from.
I tried to get all the videos done.
But failed.

So, I just decided to make this a two week project.
Problem solved!
Anyways, I had a wonderful week.
I have just been helping my grandparents.
Trying to get a job.
So on so forth.
Things are getting better though!
I went in today and asked why they haven't called me in or hired me.
And they give me the same reasons.
Hopefully things work out.
And fast!
That’s pretty much it about my week.
I can’t think of anything else to say.
Onto the picture.
There was a meteor shower a few nights ago.
With a chance of see the Aurora Borealis!
So, we went out to see what we could see.
Now instead of going where we went last time, I wanted somewhere better!
I looked at a map of the town.
I found our field that we go to.
It still in the middle of the city.
So, I zoomed out and looked for other fields.
I saw a good one just north of Niles, Michigan!
It should be away from the big city lights.
Plus, Niles isn't that big.
It was perfect.
When we got out there………..
I think I died twice.
There was so many stars!
The most I have ever seen!
Keep in mind, I'm from the city.
I'm sure people out in Wyoming and other places are like “I've seen better.”
It was just so pretty!
We could see all the constellations.
And the Milky Way.
Just by looking up!
It was so…..PRETTY!
I had to capture the moment!
So, I made several picture.
With and without me.
Using the GoPro and the Big Camera.
The GoPro’s wide lens got more stars.
I was supposed to be looking for meteors, but I didn't see any.
I was too distracted!
That's where this picture came from.
It's not the first time I used the GoPro.
It does some good exposures and has a super wide lens!
It's perfect!
I had a wonderful time and will do it again!
For the coloring, I didn't want to distract.
I wanted to bring the stars out!
So, I think for the first time, I turned contrast half way down!
It brought the stars out and then I used clarity to sharpen things up.
I turned up highlights to make the star shine.
And that was it.
It took four minutes to do.
Oh! And I changed the color temperature down.
So it doesn't look like what I have already done!
Compare!
Hover your mouse (the computer one :-P) over the original picture to see the after editing one.
If you're on a touchscreen device, just tap on the picture. You may have to tap more than once.

AMAZING!!
Just what I wanted!
Let's try the Image Slider.
Here's how it works...
There's a blue bar in the middle of the picture.
That's the slider.
The slider will disappear when you move your mouse off of the image.
I did that so you can really see the split.
But, it'll come back when you hover over it again.
You can CLICK on it and DRAG it around to get our on split image.
Or, you can use these presets.
Before FULL, After FULL, 50/50, Before a QUARTER, or After a QUARTER.
Before
After
Ok!
There was going to be a BTS video.
I had a bunch of videos all worked in.
But it came out to an hour and a half of randomness!
So, I cut out all the stuff not about the picture.
The other stuff will go into an update video!
A beginning of November update.
Speaking of updates!
I was supposed to show the update video for the end of October!
But I got behind on my video editing.
I guess that will be next week too!
Two hour long update videos!
Wow!
COME BACK NEXT WEEK!!!
