Picture 302 | The Good...

So, with the Mirroring project completed, it's time to shift gears.
If you have been keeping track with my words, you'd know that we moved to a new house.
Leaving behind a place that I was at for five years.
Five year's worth of pictures and videos.

Weird would I've been doing this for five and a half years.
So, it's basically all my work.
I couldn't just leave it all behind with saying goodbye.
Even though...it's not that hard to hop in the car and drive back over there to get more pictures.
But, it'll feel weird.
I don't live there anymore.
I'd be creepin' on other people's property.
This has been a long road of highs and lows.
I'm just getting out of a low.
So, the only place for anything to go...is up.
And it's not as bad as it sounds.
I wasn't like....low low.
I was just, not happy.
And not like....grumpy all the time.
It's hard to explain.
I lost a lot of things.
Some not so important to others, but a lot.
Anyways, it's all over.
I'm in a new house, with new photo opportunities.
I actually haven't even gone out to look around.
Plus, I don't need to make pictures here.
I drive now so I can go places!
It's all exciting!
.....I just need a car.... :-\
Once that happens...THINGS WILL CHANGE!
That was a key word for the month of August.
Thing where finally changing.
I was out of the same old routine.
I had a new house and a job.
Things are changing.
And it feels good.
I'm still getting settled into the place.
I haven't had time to work on anything.
The job really is getting in the way.
But, I sent in a request a few weeks ago to get Sundays and Wednesdays off.
My days off were random and I wanted something fixed.
I like to have a schedule.
Well, that seems to be happening!
The next two work weeks have them off.
So, we'll have to wait till Saturday for the next week to get added.
If it has Sunday and Wednesday off, I'll be happy....REALLY HAPPY!
Sunday would be a picture shooting day.
I'd have to work on the BTS video and the picture over next two days.
And then upload it on Wednesday!
PERFECT!
There are other reasons why I want those two days off.
But I can't say.
I'll just drop off the conversation there and talk about the picture!
I quickly....like very quickly made two pictures when we got to the house.
We were moving in with the first loads of stuff.
So, while it was sort of empty, I made this one.
And the other one was....some were else.
I'm going to pull the move I did with pictures 146 and 147.
That's why the picture is black and white.
It's contrasting one will be super saturated in color!
Speaking of color...this picture doesn't have any.... :-)
It was a very simple process.
Bring down the saturation and bump up the contrast!
There were some extra adjustments to the shadows and highlights.
But overall....SIMPLE!

That was an interesting change.
I'd say it turned out nicely.
It fits the mood.

I didn't make a BTS video for this picture and tomorrow's.
That's what the Goodbye video is for.
However, I did make a SUPER EPIC update video last week.
It shows what I was doing in August during the move.
IT'S AN HOUR AND TWELVE MINUTES LONG!!

I did a lot in the month of August. :-P
