Picture 283

So, just like last week, I rushed this one.
I didn't rush it too bad, I just didn't have a picture an hour ago, and now I do.
It's the same story.

I push it off, panic night before, panic the day of, blah blah.
I'm getting to the end.
I can feel it.
Anyways, on to the picture.
I didn't know what to do.
I had to think about it longer than last week's picture.
Then, for some reason, Picture 216 popped in my head.

I just looked at the post it was the shortest one ever!
Just goes to show how different things were over a year ago.)
I always flash through all my pictures while thinking of a new one.
"Did I do that? Did I do it this way? What about this?"
But Picture 216 really stood out to me for some reason.
It's been over a year since I did it and people loved it.
I like to re-do the ones I love.
But, the only time I'll re-do it is if it's a different season or something.
It can't be exactly the same thing or the same thing at a different angle.
It has to be different, but the same.
Plus, if I do it again it'll go along with the Spring time pictures that started with Picture 279.
So, I went with it.
It was a simple shoot.
I just went out there and made the picture.
It was a bit more complicated.
It took four tries.
There was a circle of sun light right where I'm sitting.
It was really cool looking, but also bad.
I was getting washed out every time.
So, I turned down the exposure level in the camera and it worked perfectly.
Now, I just had to edit it and get it to beyond perfect.
I knew what I wanted.
I worked a while.
I would go "There we go, it's done"...and then I'd see this little thing off about it and kept going.
Finally, I got it down...or I gave up. :-P
It wasn't what I had in mind...it was better.
I wanted it to be claim and simple, but then I went super saturation and contrast.
Weird.
But it worked out better in my opinion.

I love doing that.
I should have figured that out a long time ago...
Well, that was cool how I went back to an awesome place.
I go there a lot.
