So, I have been doing a project about sun and fog.
Now, let's talk about this week's picture.
When I did the project a year ago, I wanted to get a mixture of stuff.
My main focus was the fog and the sun shining through it.
But after I got that, I went for more.
Well, that's where this one comes in.
The best thing I like to do is me in huge landscapes.
I like to capture beautiful things like that.
Except, it's hard to do that, though.
I have ten seconds to get to wherever I have to stand.
That's why I'm never to far away from the camera.
This one was hard.
I have to sprint....
...up a hill....
....that was wet...
Also, I have to get there and have enough time to breathe and stand still.
It's even worse for night time exposures.
Anyways, this one had to have three takes.
This one was the second take.
Here's the first...
Here's the third...
After I got all this, I had to figure out what to do with it in post.
My main question I think of is...black and white, sepia, or color.
And then after that, crazy contrast and shadows, crazy saturation, BOTH, or just simple.
So, I just made three different pictures.
Here they are for the first...
And the second...
Finally, the third...
Then, after I picked the picture, I decided how much contrast and stuff.
This time, I just went simple.
Simple is good.
And now we compare the before and after.
AMAZING!!
I think I did a good job.
Not to bad.
Now...we get to the video part.
Like always, I make a BTS/Making-of video for...EVERYTHING!
It with my old cameras, so it's not HD, but it is a Making of.
It covers the WHOLE project, so you'll see this video over and over.
You might as well watch it now.
Of course, this one isn't short...like always.
It's 17 minutes 45 seconds of me walking around in foggy places.
It's 17 minutes 45 seconds of me walking around in foggy places.
