EH BUDDY!
Been have how doing you?
I’ve been doing fine..except for almost dying!
YAY!
So, the year didn’t start off too well.
I instantly had a cold.
I thought the end was near.
I was dead.

Doomed.
Perished.
It was going to lead into the flu and then pneumonia and then death.
I accepted my fate.
But then… 
Nothing happened.
It only lasted a day or two.
And then I was fine!
PRAISE THE SUN!!
So then I continued on…. Doing nothing!
I didn't have a photo idea.
I knew I wanted to do something, but I didn’t want to force it.
A photo idea will come to me.
So I just… did nothing.
I did work stuff of course.
But that’s pretty much it.
Nothing photo related outside of work.
There was a car fire!
That was the only exciting thing.
But then…
Out of nowhere….
BOOM!
I had the flu.
Instant death.
I never recovered.
I’m dead.
Ok, I slightly kidding.
………………….
…………..
…….
…
.
No I’m not.
Fever of 102.
Shivering in bed under blankets.
Absolute death.
LUCKILY!!
I’ve been through this before!
I knew to not go to the doctor because the did BUBCUS last time.
Told me there was nothing they could do and I had to ride it out.
So I did.
For two months.
I died there too.
Twice.
SO!
I was prepared this time.
I knew I couldn’t eat anything.
So I didn’t try.
Last time we got me some protein shakes to keep me alive.
We instantly got those again and a bottle of NyQuil.
That’s it.
We chilled the shakes so they would cool me down and I drank a boatload of water.
I waited for the end.
BUT!!
Since I knew what to do this time, I didn’t die!
It only lasted for a week this time.
Maybe a week and a half.
IT’S BETTER THAN 2 MONTHS!
During the middle of almost dying, I remember to shoot a photo!
The first one was just normal.
But then since it was a long exposure, I could experiment a little bit.
So I played around with moving while the photo was being shot.
Take a look…

They were all so good!
I couldn’t pick.
So the Aunt came to the rescue.
She liked the last two.
The 3rd one because it was creepy and the 4th one because I was sick and dying.
It looked like my soul was leaving my body…. So she says.
That would work, but that wasn’t what I was going for.
I was a bit too…. Spiritual?
I know I joked about dying, but I didn’t want to show anything like that.
So, I went with the second photo.
It looked like my head was in a cloud…
A cloud of sickness?
IT’S PERFECT.
So for the editing, there wasn’t much to do.
Just a bunch of contrast and a little de-saturation.
I did Photoshop out a few things.

So the Aunt and I went to see how things are without me.

There’s not a lot going on.
Which is why it took me a month to post anything.
I had to get the flu in order to have something to talk about.
I'm sure something will come along in the future and I'll have another story to tell.
