Picture 456...

OPE!
Hello there!
How have things been?
I’ve been on my own for a week now.
What was that?
BREAKING NEWS!

I have been informed that it’s been six, which is not a week.
CLOSE ENOUGH!
STOP INTERRUPTING ME!
It’s been a chill week so far.
The dog isn’t liking it.
I keep leaving her home alone.
She can’t come to work with me!
Well, she can… it’s just not preferred.
SHE COULD BE OUR MASCOT!!
Then I could bring her along.
PERFECT!
I’ll talk to the boss about it.
(I’m not. She was watching me so I had said that to make her happy.)
Anyways, living the solo life is…. Eh.
It’s a bit boring.
I need to do things.
Like…. Mow.
The grass is getting a bit…. Full.
But I don’t feel like doing it.
Wait… the Aunt is reading this.
…………………
……….
…..

.
I WILL DEFINITELY MOW THE YARD ON THURSDAY.
YES!
I WILL.
AND I’LL ALSO DO THE OTHER THINGS SHE HAS TOLD ME TO DO.
YES!!
………………..
………..
…..

.
ONTO THE PHOTO!

This is part two of a series that I did at a park called Galien River County Park.
Since we were alone in the park, I had chances to try some interesting ideas.
One of them was leaving my camera somewhere and then running far far away to another location.
The park has this overlook area that allows you to see all around the area.
I was walking towards it in last week’s photo.
From up there, you could see another boardwalk that went to a lookout area that was on the water.
I thought…
“I should get a photo of me walking down that boardwalk.
But not shoot it down there like I usually would do…
I should shoot it up here!
It’ll be almost like an aerial shot!”
So… I did just that.
Luckily, I had the Aunt!
I set the camera up and told her to push the button when I waved at her from down there.
I took off, got to the spot, waved, click, boom, done.
It wouldn't have worked if there were people!
So, I’m glad I got it when I had the chance.
For the editing, I cropped in a little bit.
I should have just zoomed in more when I shot the photo, but I wanted to have room to play around with.
Then lastly, I CRANKED up the saturation and brought down the highlights.
I brought down the brightness overall.
The photo was a bit bright to begin with.
And that was that!
COMPARE!
Hover your mouse (the computer one :-P) over the original picture to see the after editing one.
If you're on a touchscreen device, just tap on the picture. You may have to tap more than once.

That compared the cropping that I did.
Now compare the color changes!

LOVELY!!
Let's try the Image Slider for a split comparison.
CLICK and DRAG the BLUE BAR around to get our own split image.
Or, you can use these presets.
Before FULL, After FULL, 50/50, Before a QUARTER, or After a QUARTER.
Before
After

That’s it.
This my favorite photo out of the bunch.
I like it.
Sorry for the short post… there’s not a lot to talk about this time.
Next week will be part three.
It’s also another shot that I had to run a great distance.
COME BACK NEXT WEEK TO SEE IT!
