Picture 401

So….
Umm.. hi.
I haven’t done this in a while.
I just made the epic Picture 400 only two days ago.
Now, I’m here with yet another picture.

And then another one….. and then another one.
I have to think of something to talk about…..
:-\
hmmm
There isn’t a BTS video.
That’ll be on Friday….
…….
Hmmm.
Well, right now I’m in school.
Today is a work day for work I’ve already done.
So, I’m just messing around with the computer.
It’s a iMac.
I’ve been around Windows for so long…
But if you really look at things, they are the same.
The layout of the programs.
Like Word.
The Options bar is still in the top left and so on…
It’s all the same.
The more I use this Mac….. the more I like it.
It actually works most of the time.
My computer at home has its moments of stupidity.
“WHY DON’T YOU JUST BUY A MAC” you say?
I’m torn.
Do I want a computer that works so I can get some work done?
Or do I want a computer that I have more things to do?
The deciding factor is the price.
I don’t have $2000.
I’d rather have $500 thing that I can customize with a lot more programs.
Maybe I could just use them both…..
If I was going to spend $2000 on a computer, it’d be a Windows one.
You can get good parts for $2000.
So, that would fix the “not working” issue and I’d have more things to do with it…
LIKE GAMES!
There…
I rambled for a while to fill in this blog post.
I would talk about my week…. But it’s only been a day!
Well, two days.
ANYWAYS!
This picture and the two more that will follow came from a school project.
I usually just leave the school stuff as school stuff, but this was fun to do.
Plus, after Picture 400 I kind-of want to take an easy week.
ANYWAYS!
The project was to depict motion or freeze motion.
So, this one would be the freezing motion.
Here’s some of the other freezing ones that I did…

Don’t they look cool!
The teacher liked my experimentation.
I focused more on the accomplishing the project.
Next time I should do that AND make interesting pictures.
 But it’s ok, I got an “A”.
I did Photoshop this a little bit.
The original one had more of a gap between me and the confetti.
So, I scooted myself closer in Photoshop to make it look better.
Then I had to hide myself because doing that maybe two copies of me.
So, if you look behind me, the clouds look a little weird.
That’s my evidence.
I tried. :-P
In Lightroom, I just added some clarity and contrast.
Oh, and I brought down the brightness of the clouds and increased the shadows.
Overall, it looks good!!
COMPARE!!!
Hover your mouse (the computer one :-P) over the original picture to see the after editing one.
If you're on a touchscreen device, just tap on the picture. You may have to tap more than once.
Here's the Photoshop changes....

And here's the Lightroom changes...

AMAZING!!
Just what I wanted!
Let's try the Image Slider to compare the Lightroom changes again.
I would do the complete before and after, but since I cropped it, I can't.
It's complicated....
Here's how it works...
There's a blue bar in the middle of the picture.
That's the slider.
The slider will disappear when you move your mouse off of the image.
I did that so you can really see the split.
But, it'll come back when you hover over it again.
You can CLICK on it and DRAG it around to get our own split image.
Or, you can use these presets.
Before FULL, After FULL, 50/50, Before a QUARTER, or After a QUARTER.
Before
After
ALRIGHT!!!
THAT'S ALL!
Come back on Wednesday for part TWO!
