SO!
This has been an exciting week!

I’ve got cousins in Colorado that looking out for a wildfire….
I’ve got cousins in the Carolina’s looking out for a hurricane…
I’ve got an aunt in Louisiana in the hospital….
I’VE GOT MIDTERMS NEXT WEEK!!!
THERE ARE PROJECTS DUE!!!

It’s a delightful time.
How’s your life?
I don’t care.
I’m talking about me.
I keep missing my Wednesday Upload….days.
I get so busy with school things for the first half of the week.
Maybe I should just go with Thursdays.
Anyways… There isn’t that much due.
It’s all due on Sunday, so I have enough time.
I do need to get working on the final draft from the English paper part 2.
And then the Photoshop project…..
And then the design project…….
And then the Photo project….
And……..

ONTO THE PICTURE!
I was debating on what to do.
I have plans in my mind, but I didn’t have enough time to do them.
I realized that I haven’t done any mirroring in a while.
So…… I DID THAT!
But how….
And where….
I decided to go with the side of the house.
It had some nice shapes that would mirror well.
But then there’s me….
What will I be doing….?
I testing me standing on one leg.
I would have mirrored it in a way that cut out the supporting leg.
So, I’d look like I’m floating!
Then, I took it to the next level and tried to jump in a specific way that would mirror nicely.
But just in case those failed, I made one with me just standing there.
And I’m glad I did!
I had to go with that one.
The other’s just looked….. ew.
I would show them, but I deleted them….

MOVING ON!
I wanted to look normal in the picture.
So, I had to make sure I stood in the middle of the frame.
And I did!
It mirrored perfectly!
The only issue is the lighting.
Having some sun would have helped with the picture.
Maybe I’ll try it again!
For the coloring, I didn’t go too crazy.
I did half of everything.
Contrast, clarity, and saturation.
I did use a little more saturation to help with the bad lighting.

That was just the mirroring part, now compare the coloring part.

Just what I wanted!
Let's try the Image Slider.
Here's how it works...
There's a blue bar in the middle of the picture.
That's the slider.
The slider will disappear when you move your mouse off of the image.
I did that so you can really see the split.
But, it'll come back when you hover over it again.
You can CLICK on it and DRAG it around to get our own split image.
Or, you can use these presets.
Before FULL, After FULL, 50/50, Before a QUARTER, or After a QUARTER.

Now it’s time for the video…
As mentioned last week, this was the start of a new way of making videos.
I kept including way too many extra bits.
So, I decided to just not do that.
I do Monthly Updates for a reason.
To give all those extra bits a home.
But I was including too many in the BTS videos that there wasn’t much for the Update video.
By the way, the September Update is…. Up.
I was a little late uploading it.
I’M JUST LATE FOR EVERYTHING!
I still have to edit some racing videos…..

The Making of video is 24 and ½ minutes long!
I didn’t say the videos will be shorter by cutting out the extra bits, they’ll just be more about the picture.
I recap the week in five minutes of less and then BOOM into the picture making.
I stuck true to that.
I only included 3 ½ minutes of extra things.
The rest is about the picture.
It’s still me rambling away, but about the picture… mostly.
There’s still work to be done.
Mostly on my part.
