SO! HOWDY!
This post might be long.
I don't know.
I might give up typing and it will abruptly……
…..
…..
…….
End.
Anyways, the past few weeks have been very eventful.
We’ll start with part one, the big part.
As you can see in the picture, I was in the hospital….
Again.
It seems to be a yearly thing.
Last time wasn't as bad.
I have a condition called spontaneous pneumothorax.
It's not really a condition.
Not a disease.
It's just, something that keeps happening.
And it’s going to keep happened.
So, it’s sort of the same.
Your lungs stick to the rib cage with this sticky fluid.
That’s how the move with your body when you breathe in and out.
They aren’t just hanging in there. :-P
So, my issue is that the fluid isn't sticky enough.
When causes the lung to start to collapse.
We caught it the first time just soon enough that they didn't really have to do anything.
I just had to rest and it fixed itself.
However, I wasn't lucky this time.
I knew that when I went back to Wally World, that this would happen again.
But I took the risk.
When shows you how much I hate working inside.
It’s not the inside part, it’s the people part.
I just want to work and not get bothered by grumpy customers or snapped boss people.
OH!!
OHHHHHH!!!!
Today was an example.
We got a new store manager….finally.
I’m not going to get into details.
But we had to talk to her about something.
We as in my mom and me.
We both are on LOA and not on the schedules.
So, we have to get put back on so we can work again.
ANYWAYS!!
I was waiting outside the door while my mom does her part.
I don't know what happened, but my mom comes out all worked up.
Apparently, the new boss lady had such a snappy and rude attitude that my mom just had to walk away.
She couldn’t take it!
Which of course, the boss lady didn't like that and it exploded into a big ruckus.
I know you're the boss and what not, but you don't have to be rude.
Can't people be nice anymore?
Or is that against the rules now?
OK! I’m done with that.
I’ll get fired it I continue.
My LOA ends today.
So, I need to go in tomorrow and get back on the schedule.
Ooorrrrrrrr……..
I might not come back.
Since the new boss lady showed up, people are jumping ship!
My mom might transfer after what happened today.
I can't push carts anymore.
The doc said so and I even have a note!
That means I’ll have to be… Inside…..
WITH THEM!!!
I’ll die.
There are options available.
I could go to electronics….
If the spot is still there and they didn't lie.
OR!
There could work 82.
For you non-Wally World people, 82 is the product at the registers.
Gum, candy, mints, all those.
They are 82 and need to be stocked all the time!
I could do that.
Or, do all my other jobs besides pushing carts.
We are supposed to sweep and clean the windows and what not.
I could do that.
WHO KNOWS!!!
I might just not come back.
But I need some sort of extra money.
I don't know. It's a work in progress.
OK sorry, I got lost on work there.
I had to rant.
I hate rude people.
Especially from the boss people.
You don't need to act all big and bad.
You don't.
OK!
It took a month coming back to realize that… I wasn't going to last.
So, I have been trying to get inside.
I’ve been pushing fewer carts and staying in more.
Basically slacking off.
But the damage was done.
It went to clock in one day and…. I felt it.
My lung gave out.
It wasn't too bad…. But it hurt.
People caught on that I was in pain and they sent me home.
I went to a little medical place to see the damage and they said to go to the ER.
So, I did.
I thought it would be the same.
I was debating on not even going to the ER.
I was just going to rest for two weeks and see if it fixed itself.
But I went in anyway.
I go through the typical stuff.
Now I’m in one for the back rooms.
Waiting to leave for an x-Ray.
Suddenly…they bring in….tube.
………………………….
.
…………….
.
.
“WE DON’T NEED THAT”
I got the X-ray and turns out…… We did.
The hole was twice as big!
OOPS!!
They were like “We are going to have to use that”
WHAT!!!
Next thing I know, I'm laying down and they are numbing the area for insertion!
They start cleaning the spot and I was like…. “I still feel that.”……..
I FEEL IT!!!
But, no care where giving.
They slice my open and shove the tube in.
Jgldhglklhgothrlhgiltjgithb
Trbkrtjblkrtjhlkbjwjtlbkjrlkjgblkjrltb
Bglbkkgjihtughrjfhrkwjkehnuhgrhrejhejhgrkgpoop.
I died.
I did.
Right there.
I died three times.
For the record, they didn't really slice and dice.
Scar I have is just a ¼ of an inch.
But they did use shove the tube in there.
WOOO!!!
Then they started sucking the lung back into place from the outside.
WOOOOOOOOOOOO
That’s when I died.
They gave me some meds.
Then everything got…. Fuzzy.
Hehehe the room is spinning.
Weeeeee.
Then…….they left me!!
EVERYONE!!
The room cleared out and they just left me and my mom in there.
And of course…… THE MEDS WORE OFF!
Now I’m dead again and no one is around.
Apparently, there was a shift change and they all just left me!!
THANKS!!!
We finally got someone and a little bit later, they moved me to a real room.
The tube was still in there and it was still sucking away.
But they gave me loads of meds!
I got the news that I was staying the night.
For the first time…
In the hospital.
That is where the picture comes in.
OF COURSE!! I had the GoPro in my pocket.
I didn't record too much…because I was dying.
But once everyone left and I was alone in my room, I started the vlogs.
And also when I might the picture.
It was a long first night. I dozed in and out.
That morning, the doc came in and said things are looking ok.
However, they want me to stay ONE MORE NIGHT!!
At midnight, they will turn the pump off.
They told me this at 7 AM.
So I got to look forward to that allllll day.
So, I made random videos throughout the day.
Sure enough, at midnight they turned it off.
And the next morning, they said I could go home.
So I did.
That’s that ordeal.
Now, for the picture I did do much.
I added my usual contrast and clarity.
Lastly, I changed the temperature of the picture to a warm orange.
COMPARE!!
Hover your mouse (the computer one :-P) over the original picture to see the after editing one.

COMPARE!!
Hover your mouse (the computer one :-P) over the original picture to see the after editing one.
If you're on a touchscreen device, just tap on the picture. You may have to tap more than once.
AMAZING!!
Just what I wanted!
Let's try the Image Slider.
Here's how it works...
There's a blue bar in the middle of the picture.
That's the slider.
The slider will disappear when you move your mouse off of the image.
I did that so you can really see the split.
But, it'll come back when you hover over it again.
You can CLICK on it and DRAG it around to get our own split image.
Or, you can use these presets.
Before FULL, After FULL, 50/50, Before a QUARTER, or After a QUARTER.
Alright!!!
Now….it's time for the video.
It’s a bit long at 1 hour 25 minutes.
I recorded A LOT!!
I was bored!
It covers….. EVERYTHING!
You can CLICK HERE to see the video or watch it below.
Now, it’s time for something extra!
Friday was my birthday.
I had a fun day!
I would have uploaded the video then, but there was an issue.
There was an issue for the hospital video too.
They just wouldn't render.
So, I had to push that off and make a B-Day picture…
Then I had to push that off as well!!
But, I got it all fixed.
For my B-Day picture, I wanted something random.
The last one was a cool be serious one.
I wanted silly.
So, all I was going to do was get a simple picture of me.
Then take out the background and Photoshop random things behind me!
I decided to go with some light painting.
I tested that in the past for an unseen project.
So, that’s what I did.
I painted random doodles.
I used Photoshop to change the colors and make them whatever I want.
Over all, I took 2 hours to make.
COMPARE!!!
Wait…. There’s nothing to properly compare.
Here’s the original base picture.
And then a few of the doodles I used…
You can compare the Lightroom changes.
I just added some more saturation to make it all POP!!
COMPARE!
I can't do another image slider.
I haven't figured out how to get two to work at once.
We cut just cut to the video.
It’s shorter than the hospital video by a whole hour!
You can CLICK HERE to see the video or watch it below.
One more thing, in both videos.
I mention the July Update video.
All this was going to be in that update but things went downhill in the hospital.
I’ll embed it as well.
You can see my lung slowly falling apart in the video.
You can CLICK HERE to see the video or watch it below.
WOW!! Video overload!!!
That’s all I have!
I’m finally all caught up.
It’s been a wonder two weeks!
:-|
Hopefully, things will get better!
Now…. I need a picture for next week!!!
So……
COME BACK NEXT WEEK!!!
