SO!!!
Ello.
I’m currently with my sister in the hospital.
She's having surgery today to fix her foot.
So, I'm here for moral support.

We are sitting in the prep room
Oh doctor people……
Got to go….
(45 minutes later)
Ok, we are a McDonalds now.
They drugged her up and took her away.
Hold on….
My hot fudge sundae is melting.
(15 minutes later)
We are back.
It's been an hour.
She’s half way through.
We haven't heard anything bad.
Well, other than this, my week has been boring.
I have been getting ready for school.
I put in a change of availability.
Hopefully they get it done.
The schedule is getting to close to school.
If the next week gets added and it's not right, I’m going to get snappy.
I will choice school over work.
I’ll get fired for getting to many points from not showing up.
I don't mind.
But I’d rather not have that happen.
Anyways, we got insurance for my car yesterday!
Now I just need plates and I’m street legal!
I got paid, but I need to give money to the guy I got the car from.
Then pay the parents as well.
So, I might not have enough to get it on the road use yet.
But it's getting close.
I’ve been working with the tractor racing people.
If you didn't know, my dad races these things called modified lawn tractors.
It’s lawnmower with racing engines on them.
I’ve been recording all the races.
They really like the GoPro.
I put it on the front of my dad’s tractor.
And when something like a wreck happens, the guys want to see the videos.
Especially when my dad is in the wreck.
So, they ask if I can put together a cool video for them and burn it to a DVD.
They store a lot of the races on DVDs.
Well, I take it a step farther and upload them to a new YouTube channel.
That way they can share it on their Facebook page.
The videos are getting more views than my own videos.
So, I’ve been busy getting all the other races edited nicely so I can upload them.
This is good training for the real world.
I am going to school for video stuff as well.
If I get a video job, it’ll be like this.
I’m liking it though.
They REALLY like the videos and the way I edit them.
It makes me feel good that people like what I do.
While I was working on those, I finally got around to editing the update for June.
Even though we are in the middle of July now.
I wanted to get it done and uploaded now.
Because there’s no BTS video.
The picture that I uploaded just randomly happened.
We couldn't sleep and was like…. “Let's go look at the stars.”
So, we did.
I didn't record any videos because I was in the moment and didn't want to ruin anything.
It was SO PRETTY!!
Plus, it was dark and you couldn’t see anything anyways.
We even saw some shooting stars!
Like, more than when we actually went out and looked for meteors!
Oh, hold on…
They are calling us back into a private waiting room.
My sister might be done.
BRB!!
(10 minutes later)
Ok, the doc said it’s all good.
She’s done.
We have to wait a little bit until we can see her.
(3 hours later)
We are home.
Well, I am.
The parents went to get the meds from Wally World.
I’m here at home taking care of da sister.
She's asleep. :)
All is well.
We’ll see how the next few weeks go.
Ok….what was I talking about…..
OH! The picture.
I wanted to make one while we were out there looking at the stars.
I wanted the motion of the stars across the sky.
Because that's what happened in all my pictures.
I had to have the shutter open a long time.
Just to see them a little bit.
So, no matter what, the where lines across the sky.
So, I went with it.
However, I didn't leave it open long enough.
The stars didn't form long lines across the sky.
Just little streaks.
It makes it look like the picture is out of focus or something.
But if you look at me, I’m clear.
I didn't move an INCH!!
I had to stand still for 5 minutes.
I think I did well!
Even though I’m transparent.
Then for the coloring, I tried something new.
I use Lightroom and Photoshop Elements for pictures.
And Premiere Elements for videos.
I’ve noticed they are getting a bit old.
Version wise.
So, I decided to do free trails of all the new Adobe products.
I tried After Effects with is used for movies.
Premiere Pro as an upgrade from Premiere Elements.
The FULL version of Photoshop.
And the newest version of Lightroom.
And after trying them all…..
I’m fine with what I have.
Sure, I can't do all the fancy things like special effects in Premiere.
But I’m fine with that.
Nothing really blew me away in all the Pro stuff.
So, I looked at the new version of the Elements stuff.
Which are like the little brothers of the Pro stuff.
And there were some cool new features.
So, I might upgrade from versions 12 to 14.
But I won't go up to the Pro versions.
It’ll only cost $100 for both PhotoshopE14 and PremeireE14.
Which is how much it cost for version 12.
Then Lightroom comes in.
I have version 4, I tried V6.
And it really wasn't different.
At all.
It’s weird.
I didn't seem different.
Everything looked the same.
There might have been slight changes to the menus.
And a few new features, but nothing BIG!
I still used it anyways a colored this picture with it.
It did have a nice haze removal feature that removes the ambient atmospheric haze.
That's the only new thing that I did.
The rest was my usual contrast and clarity.

Just what I wanted!
Let's try the Image Slider.
Here's how it works...
There's a blue bar in the middle of the picture.
That's the slider.
The slider will disappear when you move your mouse off of the image.
I did that so you can really see the split.
But, it'll come back when you hover over it again.
You can CLICK on it and DRAG it around to get our on split image.
Or, you can use these presets.
Before FULL, After FULL, 50/50, Before a QUARTER, or After a QUARTER.
