Picture 295 | ...owT tcejorP rorriM ehT

So, after the fun from the first part of this project, I decided to continue.
Actually I knew I was continuing all along.
I just had to take a break for my Fourth of July picture last week.
And I also had to make more pictures.

The first three picture where not meant to be mirrored.
But, it all worked out nicely.
This time I knew what I was doing.
So, I made sure the pictures looked like they would be awesome mirrored.
Mirroring is when I take a half of an image of and flip it, then line it back up with the other half.
That was a rough explanation....
You can see what I mean in the picture above.
But the picture above takes it a step farther.
I took the mirrored pictures and mirrored them again vertically.
So, that makes four. :-) MATH!
But I'm getting a step ahead.
I mentioned before that this video idea in my brain.
The end of the video series about my Boots.
THE EPIC FINALE!
However, the video it's about that.
The video is about saying goodbye to the place that I have lived in for the past five years.
Since Picture 22 if you think about it.
I go through some, not all, of my picture spots that I have made throughout the area.
It's my most complicated piece of work.
And the FIRST video to be COMPLETELY edited in my special video program.
Before, I would just save only the parts with two camera angles.
This time I put the program to the test and see if I could do cool things.
And...I could.
If you do too much, it keeps crashing and the video won't render.
I did get to that point.
So, I split the video up into five sections and they all saved fine.
Then, I put them all back together for one complete save.
It all worked quite smoothly. :-)
Now, I have that video FINALLY done.
But it's only part one....well...two...
Part One is me in the house and the place look like we are moving.
So, I'll need to quickly do it during our move.
And then Part Three would be when we are done and I give my goodbye to the empty home.
That's the simple story.
Things might change.
Right now, it's looking to be around 30 minutes long.
Part Two is the only part done and it's 27 minutes. :-\
The "parts" are not separate videos.
It'll all be one long video....which is what I just said.
It's just different filming parts.
Moving on, when I was filming the video I also looked for spots to make new pictures for the project.
I had a few holes in the path that I walk from one picture to the next.
So, I filled them in with a few new ones.
And then I made some new ones in some old spots.
I got a total of six done that way.
However...this week's picture wasn't in that group.
THIS one was made a while ago.
After the editing of the first part of project was done.
One day I was out getting time lapses of clouds again.
I figured that they would look cool mirrored.
So, I made the picture.
I think it looked good all by itself.
But I decided to include it in this project instead of a separate upload.
This time around, I mirrored the picture first before doing the color correcting.
I wanted this one to be more complex than what I did before.
So, I did a double mirror.
Both horizontal and vertical.
And it looked great!
For the coloring, I wanted black and white.
High contrast black and white.
Plain and simple.
So...that's what I did. :-D
It turned out exactly the way I wanted.
OH! Let's compare!
Hover your mouse (the computer one :-P) over the original picture to see the after editing one.
If you're on a touchscreen device, just tap on the picture. You may have to tap more than once.

AMAZING!!
That's the only comparison I have.
I'm not going to compare the mirroring this time.
Just the coloring.
I'd say it all turned out lovely.
I like it.
Now, on to the video.
You'll see this video a lot over the following weeks.
It's 21 minutes 31 seconds and covers the making of the whole project!
The shooting of each picture and the colorizing of them all.
ALL IN ONE!
BUT!!!! BUT!!!!!!!
It DOES NOT include the shooting of this one.
It has the colorizing, but I didn't include the actually shooting.
I forgot. :-\
You can still see the rest of the project though and more!
There's a few juicy tid-bits from the EPIC goodbye video that I'm making.
I realized that all these pictures will push me over 300!!!
So, I don't know if I'll take a break for Picture 300 or not.
And then there's my birthday picture...hmmmm
I might have to take a few breaks here and there.
Anyways, you can CLICK HERE to see the video or watch it below.

COME BACK NEXT WEEK FOR THE NEXT PART!!!
