Picture 290

So, last week I made two pictures at the same time...sort of.
This one is part two.
Go see last week's post for more of an inside story.
I'm just going to skip talking about actually photo shoot for the picture.

After I got done with last week's picture, I got to coloring this one right away as well.
I wanted some colors because last week's picture wasn't enough.
There were some colors, but...just not enough.
So, I made sure that this one had a bit more.
Last week's picture was too dark and if I added saturation, it got grainy.
This one was a little brighter.
So, I turned saturation all the way up and then clarity to make the clouds look awesome.
However, there was so graininess.
So, I used a little noise reduction to clean it up, but not too much or else I lose detail.
I got it balanced nice.
It's still grainy in the purples, but not as bad.
I did a little tinkering with the colors some more to get some balance.
The blue was way too much and the orange was still faded.
It's a good thing I can do a color at a time as well.
I toned the blue down and the orange up.
And thus! I was satisfied.

This one had much more color.
I like it much better than last week's.
It had a POP to it. :-)
