(This post was made back when I remembered to actually do some making-of stuff. Instead of just a video.)
So, I had an idea....like always.
I didn't really know what I was going for. I just wanted to make a picture.
There was a certain look I wanted to get.
At a certain time of the year, to sun shines perfectly down this hallway.
I only happens for a few minutes.
(Remember: The words above explains the pictures below them. Don't get mixed up!)
When I got out there the shadow was at the end of the hall,
but I this first picture, it's already getting me.
I quickly hurried up to get more.
This was a test, I was seeing something.
This last one didn't work out, because the shadow was to far along.
And that was my last one, because the sun moved to far. See. I made a video.
So, with the sun gone, I went to editing.
First, I picked a picture out of those three.
I picked the first one.
I made it black and white and played with the contrast and saturation.
Then, I loaded into Photoshop, because...I had another idea.
Early in the week I made this picture, I made another one.
And in that one I made a some-what fisheye lens effect...without a lens.
So, I wanted to do the same thing...but opposite. A wide angle lens.
I selected a specific spot with an elliptical selector...thing.
Then, I used a spherize filter effect.
And then put to -100. You can see the difference in the little grid.
And BOOM! It's almost right. But, I didn't like it.
So, I re-did. But this time, I made the canvas bigger.
So I can select outside the picture and not have it to distorted.
Because things in the middle of a wide angle lens look more normal.
Then, I did the steps again.
There, that's much better.
All I had to do was crop it.
But then, I got to thinking. I wanted to see different filters.
So, here's the normal. No lens effect or other filters.
This one was cool, but a bit to...dark.
I liked this one. It was a grainy filter.
And so BOOM!! After 30 minutes, we got a picture.
It's a good one. But not too good.
